What Is Center-Based ABA Therapy?
ABA mainstream therapy is a well-organized and research-based intervention geared toward giving direct school based instruction, which aims to modify specific behaviors of a child including communicating, relating with others, and managing day to day tasks. While in home ABA therapy is conducted in the child’s home environment, center based therapy takes place in a specified clinical environment with minimum interference of the environment in therapy.
This type of therapy is one of the most effective in the education of the child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for the necessary skills in his or her development. Hence, when a child is given therapy in an individual area, then the various stakeholders in the child’s life are able to determine improvement, put in techniques and plans that will be effective on the child, alongside tweaking those approaches depending on the disability that the child has
